TOBLERONE CHEESECAKE
INGREDIENTS (for a 23 cm diameter round tray)
  • 500-600 g (two packs) of Philadelphia
  • 1/2 pack Digestive biscuits
  • 2 eggs
  • 70 g melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 6 pieces of a big Toblerone
  • 5 pieces of a big Toblerone
Preheat the oven to 190C.
Prepare the crust by crushing the biscuits in fine crumbs, then add the brown sugar and the melted butter. Stir to obtain the consistence of wet sand. Put it in the tray and press evenly.
For the cream, soften the Philadelphia, then add sugar and stir well to make it fluffy. Add the eggs (one at a time!) and stir until completely incorporated. Crush 6 pieces of Toblerone and add them to the cream.
Pour the cream into the crust and put in the oven (medium height) for around 40 mins (check the consistence: it's ready if, when shaking the tray, edges are set but the centre jiggles a bit).

When the cheesecake is cold, melt in the microwave the remaining 5 pieces of Toblerone, then spread it on the cheesecake and put it in the fridge for at least two hours.

Enjoy! ;)
